Government/Court Room Policy
The Government/Court Room is an integral aspect of the Union Aerospace Corporation in public and staff relations. The Court Room is used in cases when a user has performed an act which has landed them in severe consequences such as trashing, giving unauthorized people badge admins, etc. It is also used when a user who has departed from the 7CE at a very high rank and wishes to return. The Court Room must always remain professional whilst in session, usually headed by a member of the Founders Cabinet, Director of Law/Government or the President.
Who can attend a Court Session?
Anyone that is a High Rank and above may attend a Court Session unless stated otherwise.
How does the Jury work?
The Jury is a set of people which are selected by Founders Cabinet, the Director of Law/Government and the President. Those who are attending the Jury are highly responsible individuals in the Union Aerospace Corporation and must maintain an exceptional level of behaviour whilst inside of the court. The Jury can contain as little as two and as many as eight people in one court session.
Do the Jury decide on the verdict?
Not entirely, the verdict is decided by a voting system which takes place inside and outside of the court. The voting that is taken inside of the court consists of all members (except the Judge and the person on trial) to line up orderly in front of the selected vote collector. Each individual whispers their vote to the collector once they are at the front of the line. When the line has subsided, the Jury then approach the vote collector. The Jury's votes individually count as two votes.
The voting that takes place outside of the Court Room is an online poll which is available for those invited to attend the session but cannot make it. These votes are also tallied up with the votes from inside of the court to present a final verdict.
